Abstract

|
A new National IT Plan is formulated whenever a new government is established, and the core tasks of the related department about new projects continuously develop. However, there are much limitations to the Information policies for the elderly. As facing a rapidly aging society, there is a growing need for studying new areas such as social integration, man-power development and the quality of life for the elderly. In this situation, it is meaningless to implement welfare policies for the elderly without information policy. Therefore, this study illustrates change of National IT Planning and information policy for elderly and then discusses the methods of enhancing the information levels for elderly. To attain these goals, this study suggests improved methods about the propulsion system of information policy, information education and enhancing the information capacity for elderly in terms of environmental aspects.
